From Local Sources — For Local Causes
ZANZAWE is mandated with collecting and distributing Zakaat from local sources and distributing for local causes.
Alhamdulillah with the grace and mercy of Allah ZANZAWE currently assists 360 individuals monthly within Lusaka and surrounding areas such as Kafue, 10 Miles, 15 Miles, Chikumbi, Wailes, Senjela, Chinyunyu, Chitemalesa and Chongwe.

ZANZAWE contributes different amounts ranging between K900 and K1,500 according to the need and necessity of every individual.
ZANZAWE also distributes food hampers to families before Ramadhaan which normally comprises of mealie meal, sugar, rice, cooking oil, juice and salt.
The application period for monthly assistance is open the whole year and recipients are revisited twice yearly.
ZANZAWE provides welfare support, educational assistance, medical relief, and empowerment initiatives for vulnerable Muslims across Zambia.
